    About this item

An early nineteenth century, miniature, Wedgwood, dark blue jasper dip violeteer. This is marked “WEDGWOOD” and it is also impressed with a letter ‘O’ and a workman’s mark in the shape of a cross. It dates from c.1820. The bowl is decorated, in white relief, with classical subjects including cupids at play. There is also the unusual addition of two lyres. The lid is decorated with small, stylised leaves and acanthus leaves. All of the reliefs are very good quality and the jasper dip is a good, rich shade of blue. It is in excellent condition.

    Dimensions: Height 6.8cm. Diameter 8.7cm. Width 9.7cm.

Price includes postage within the U.K. Shipping to the U.S.A. add £20. Most of Western Europe add £10.
