    About this item

A pair of 19th century, Wedgwood, pale blue jasper dip vases. These are marked “WEDGWOOD” and they also have a couple of other incised  marks, one being a number ‘1810’. The vases are super quality and they date from c.1840. Each vase is decorated, in relief, with four different classical subjects set between anthemion. To the neck are garlands of flowers hanging from ram’s heads and there are further, tiny reliefs inside the necks of the vases. All of these reliefs are very fine and both vases are in excellent condition.

    Dimensions: Height 13.2cm. Diameter 8.7cm.
