A large pair of jasper vases designed by Kelly Hoppen for Wedgwood. Kelly Hoppen CBE, was born in South Africa in 1959 and started her career as an interior designer at the age of 16. She has since worked for many famous names. She created a contemporary home lifestyle collection for Wedgwood and these vases formed a part of it. The marks on the base can be seen in the images. This particular size and design was a limited edition of 1000. They are very stylish, made from a brown jasper with a pale coffee coloured leaves in relief. They are both in excellent condition . Due to the difficulties in firing such large vases the top of one has sagged a little and turns inwards, so the side is not totally straight. These pair beautifully with the other pair which we have on the website which are smaller and in reverse colours.
