This is an ancient Roman AE (Orichalcum) Sestertius, of Emperor Hadrian, minted at Rome between 119 - 121 AD
Obverse: IMP CAESAR TRAIANVS HADRIANVS AVG P M TR P COS III, "Supreme commander (Imperator), Caesar, Trajan Hadrian, emperor (Augustus), high priest, holder of tribunician power, consul for the third time" Bust of Hadrian, laureate, right.
Reverse: LIBERTAS PVBLICA, "Public freedom. Decree of the senate" Libertas seated l., holding branch and sceptre; in ex. S C.
A nice ancient coin with a good hoard patina!
