About this item
A deep, French copper preserve pan. This is made from a substantial gauge of copper and it has brass handles to either side. The copper shows spinning marks, from manufacture, and the piece dates from c.1900. It is unusually deep for a preserve pan and was possible originally used for making confit duck. It would also make a useful sized jardiniere. It is in very good condition. There is just a little scratching to the copper from use.
Dimensions: Height of pan 15.5cm. Diameter 27.5cm. Height including the handles 20cm. Width across the handles 31.3cm.
