A Howard & Sons large country house sofa which is made for relaxing on.  Having a reclined buttoned back with a deep sprung seat and raised on walnut turned front legs with brass castors.   This shapely sofa made to the highest quality and retaining the original horse-hair filling.  Recently re-upholstered in Howard & Sons ticking.   Numbered back leg, English, Circa 1870.
