A very fine 19th Century fruitwood console table.  The moulded Rosso Levante marble top of serpentine form raised over shaped frieze with centred mask stunningly hand carved in high relief, flanked with trailing foliate and c-scrolls.  Supported on tapering moulded cabriole leg beautifully decorated with beading and scroll motif detail, conjoined with serpentine stretcher terminating on scroll foot.
