Late 19th century French archtop mirror with ebonised frame decorated with an etched gilt, outcurving panel of alternating horizontal stripes of matt and burnished pale gold.  The original glass has some age in the form of freckling and a faint reverse image showing the manufacturer and date (1881) in the lower left corner but the reflection is still good.
