1 Pretty Collectible Antique Cast Gilt Bronze Sporting Equestrian Pacing Horse Statue.
In the influenced model movement style similar to after Giambologna.
Feature that particular stand out is the pacing posed movement of the horse also the mane and tail also hooves which are so ornate showing off the ormolu gilt detail which is exceptional.
So beautiful and finely cast.
A good size 41.5cm tall.
Made fom cast bronze with gilt ormolu finish highlights.

This horse represents an influenced style movement of the pacing horse sculpture by Giambolgna, which was first created at the end of the 16th century and thought to have been further influenced by some of Leonardo Di Vinci's drawings.
This model captures contour and form that is characteristic of Giambologna's early bronzes. The most famous of which, which was originally part of the Torrie Collection is now housed in the University of Edinburgh.
Having such a beautiful fine natural aged patina which you will especially love.
