A rare stunning 19th Century fully restored brass fire screen of large proportions.  The protective mesh wire of rectangular form set within a beautifully ornate, simple brass frame with bands of foliate, ribbon twist, flowerheads and applied flowerhead paterae to each of the four corners.  The elegant carrying handle with scroll, flowerhead, fluting and ribbon twist motif detail.  The wire mesh is further adorned with ribbon tied floral bouquets, supported on out-splaying scroll leg terminating on hoof foot.
