Dovetail corner joints, pressed steel carrying handles, finished in original paint with age related marks, the lid opens on cast strap hinges opens to an interior with single shelf, the lid with a rope stay to hold it open.
British, 19th Century 

Condition: Of solid construction, the lid opens and closes cleanly, the original lock is in the front, but it is without key and the keeper in the lid is missing.  Original paint.
