A pair of superb quality 18th Century mahogany knife boxes from the Georgian period, having a wonderful figuration throughout, decorative shaped front, with the sloping hinged lid opening to reveal a fitted interior, both boxes are baized underneath.  In excellent condition and having a lovely rich warm mahogany colour.  Circa 1780.
