Early 20th century Venetian mirror with scrolling acanthus leaf decoration. The glass frame has a very detailed reverse etching of scallop cuts and lines which catches the light and draws the eye. The bevelled central glass has a little light age but still gives a very good reflection and although there is some age in the silvering on the smaller, outer pieces around the frame there are no chips or cracks.
