A very fine and unusual 19th Century three compartmental panel overmantle mirror of long and narrow proportions.  The central mirror glass plate of rectangular form framed with a stunning hand carved reeded and ebonised border flanked with two further glass plates, set within a beautifully hand carved moulded giltwood frame with turned spiral pilaster columns finely carved in high relief.  Surmounted with frieze with decorative scrolling foliate motif detail and applied flowerhead paterae, supported on shaped platform base.
