A smart Victorian antique walnut Davenport desk. The antique walnut Davenport desk has a small fitted compartment to the top (containing its original inkwell) with a sloped leather writing surface. The Davenport desk opens to reveal a neat interior, consisting of two usable drawers (the top two drawers are fixed and don’t open). To the right-hand side is a bank of four fitted drawers, each with two wooden knobs (the left-hand side being dummy drawers). The antique Davenport desk has decorative carved front corbels and is raised on four castors.

CONDITION REPORT:

In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including age-related marks and scratches to the top, front and drawers (pictured). There is also a split to the back and to the interior of the desk (pictured), however this doesn’t affect the overall integrity of the product. The antique Davenport desk remains structurally solid and sound, with the drawers and castors running well. Overall, a good example of its kind.

FREE delivery to England & Wales. For Scotland please get in touch for a delivery quote by calling us on 01685 813594.

Timescale: 5-15 working days. You will receive full delivery details once your order has been placed. For Scotland, delivery may take longer than 15 working days. Please note, the courier service is to the external doorstep, the courier will also deliver on their own so you will need to arrange for someone to help your end.

Delivery Exemptions: We do not deliver to areas outside of mainland UK (i.e Scottish Highlands and Islands, Northern Ireland, Isle of Wight, Isle of Man, Channel Islands and Scilly Isles).

International & European: We do not currently ship outside of mainland UK.

Collection: Our shop is based in the village of Penderyn, South Wales, CF44 0TJ.

In case of return, items must be received back in the same condition as delivered and a collection fee of £85 will apply, this would be deducted from any refund amount.
