This 19th century Venetian mirror, circa 1880, is simply beautiful! The plain bevelled glass frame just has a realistically shaped glass leaf at each corner and mid-way along the frame and nothing else. The whole mirror is bordered with a black painted wooden edge to protect the outside of the frame and all the glass is original, in very good condition, with just a hint of age. This mirror can be hung portrait, as photographed, or landscape and would make a stunning overmantel.
