A Rare and very large shop display or cobblers display ladies shoe, this impressive piece is covered with a raw silk and blue velvet, with leather to the sole and heel. These were on display in the Victorian period to showcase the latest in ladies shoe fashion. Classically know as a ladies evening slipper. C1840
This piece of Victorian history is in superb condition with a slight rip to one side, this does not detract from the overall look to this rare piece.
