A stunning Hatherley Jones Oak folding table. This is a beautiful piece of furniture, made from Oak, folds completely flat, making it easy to store away and travel with, complete with a small drawer to the front, the makers label is attached to the side of the table, Allen Jones Hatherley Works, Trade CAJAC mark. These tables were used by the military, also known as campaign furniture. C1918
Charles Allen Jones of Down Hatherley, Gloucestershire invented and produced the Hatherley patent table along with a number of other items such as step ladders, bicycle stands and easels working to the same folding mechanism.
A beautiful piece of furniture, can be used as an occasional table or side table. This piece folds up completely for easy storage. In very good, complete and strong condition. (Depth when closed 7cm)
