This suburb and extremely rare Aux États Unis Wardrobe Trunk full of charm and sophistication, made in the period when the likes of Louis Vuitton and Goyard were producing the finest and to the same quality of luggage. C1910
This Trunk is in fantastic condition, made from printed canvas and composite leather, finished with brass stud work and fittings, with a leather handle to the side and top, the internal part of this trunk still remains all original, retaining the 5 graduating drawers with the Etats stitched straps, and leather pull handles, the front compartment has coat hangers on a carousel that pulls for round easy assess, all the straps are marked with the Aux États Unis makers name which is on a markers label to the base of the wardrobe. The base is set on roller ball casters making it easier to move when travelling.
This fine piece was made by Aux États Unis 229. Rue, St Honore Paris, who went into business in 1845 which was two doors down from Goyard. This Trunk would make a great addition to any collection or turned into a coffee table with a glass top, a thing of fine workmanship and quality.
