A Superb Strand Electric Theatre Spotlight. This iconic examples of British design was made by The Strand Lighting Company in their Covent Garden works in Londons West End. Made from Aluminium, it remains in original working condition, and has been refurbished. This lights has been superbly engineered and feature a die-cast ventilated body, 360-degree rotation, Iconic design and an internal reflector. Strand Electric Made in England makers mark is stamped on the rear of the light. C1950s
Strand Electric is an international theatre and television lighting company founded in 1914 in Londons West End, they supplied lighting fixtures and controls for the entertainment industry, Strand's products have been used on countless theatre productions and TV shows worldwide.
This spotlights has been PAT tested and rewired so is ready to go, it has been professionally refurbished and painted to turn this classic into a modern piece of contemporary lighting, it would look amazing in any modern home or as shop or bar lighting.
