A Superb Pair of Strand Electric Theatre Spotlights. These iconic examples of British design were made by The Strand Lighting Company in their Covent Garden works in Londons West End. Made from Aluminium, they remain in original working condition. These lights have been superbly engineered and feature a die-cast ventilated body, 360-degree rotation, Iconic design and an internal reflector, complete with the original extendable arm. Strand Electric Made in England makers mark is stamped on the rear of the light. C1930s
Strand Electric is an international theatre and television lighting company founded in 1914 in Londons West End, they supplied lighting fixtures and controls for the entertainment industry, Strand's products have been used on countless theatre productions and TV shows worldwide.
These spotlights have been PAT tested and rewired so are ready to go, they have both been professionally polished to showcase the original finish. They would look amazing in any modern home or as shop display lighting.
