A Rare and Unusual Cast Iron Doorstop. Made from cast iron, modelled as dog in the begging position (Possibly as Bichon) holding a scroll in his mouth all mounted on a cast roped round base. C1870
This lovely French cast iron dog remains in original condition, with lovely patina, he€™s very charming and still functional. This lovely piece would look great in any hall way or living room, a great conversation piece.
