Stunning Military Mule Trunk, hard to find, English, Mule Military trunk. Made from Leather, with brass detailing and comes complete with lock & key, this trunk has a beautiful colour and patina, it is rare to find a proper trunk retaining its original leather, iron loops and linen lining. The design is typical with pine sledge fit and a tin base to waterproof against wet ground. This trunk has a wooden bar to the top, where it hinges. C1900
These trunks were originally carried on each side of the mule or camel for the transport of Military uniforms and boots.
