A large and beautiful tortoiseshell  and silver jewellery box, made in Birmingham in 1910 by Henry Mathew. It has stunning silver inlaid scrolls and swags on the top. Both the top and base are fully hallmarked and it sits on four cast legs. The inside is lined with red velvet and overall the box is in very good condition. A lovely piece for the dressing table.
