Very good quality and very decorative Rococo style gilt brass and kingwood parquetry desk top inkwell tray set, mid 19th century and in good condition.
The two inkwells have their original finial lids and bowls with a complimentary acorn finial for using when lifting or moving the whole tray. 
Some lovely age and use marks as you would expect with an inkwell, which I have left as they are under many decades of polish.
The gilt brass has been lightly cleaned and buffed, so it has a lovely mellow glow to it which contrasts with the kingwood beautifully. 
Wonderful item and will add interest to any desk or console table, handy for putting your keys on if it was to be used on a hall table for example.
