A large and impressive Nepalese mask of a God. Probably representing Hanuman. Hand carved from wood with a fabric covering with hand painted surface. Wonderful ancient look and patina, comes complete with oak display stand from which it can be removed if desired. This type of mask were used in theatre performance's and ritual festivals etc.. Provenance from a London gentleman's collection formed in the 1960's. 50cms tall with stand.
