A Regency period Gillows “Spanish” scrolled library armchair in solid mahogany and newly upholstered in an Ox blood and buttoned leather, finished with brass studs. 
Very comfortable armchair, the curve of the frame supporting one very well indeed and this is quite a deep chair too.
Circa 1820 and super quality as you would expect by Gillows.
