A stunning pair of antique 19th Century Anglo-Indian carved cabinets profusely carved throughout, having a lovely figured top with a decorative carved gadrooned edge above two hinged carved and pierced cupboard doors opening to reveal two shelves inside, the front door panels profusely carved with pierced carving of various foliage and vines, the sides of the bookcase having the same pierced carving as the front, decorative gadrooned plinth supported on carved bun feet.  The back of one of the cabinets has a label stating “Army & Shipping of Bombay”  Wonderful crisp carving and in excellent condition, Circa 1860.
