This is a Swiss pocket watch made for the British railway circa 1910

The watch is ticking but has not been cleaned or serviced and is sold with no warranty

Movement – the nickel ¾ plate movement has a lever escapement and is signed “DF & C, 15 Jewels, Swiss Made”. The movement is in 95% mint condition

Case – the movement comes in a white metal open face case, which has a screw off back and bezel. The back cover is stamped ‘L.N.E.R 4244”. The rest of the case has a smooth plain finish and is in 95% mint condition – excellent condition

Dial – the white enamel dial has a full set of blue steel hands. The dial is signed “Selex, Swiss Made”. The dial is in 100% mint condition

The watch has a thick bevelled glass – this does have a chip on one edge

The watch measures 57mm wide x 18mm deep

The watch is stem wound / stem set
