Good gold plated Victorian pocket watch chain c1890

This is a gold plated pocket watch chain but looks and feels like a solid gold Victorian example and is a very good substitute.

 The chain is made up of a single length of carved mesh links and measures 310mm from the T bar to the dog clip and has an additional length of chain from which to hang a fob or accessory. The links are 6mm wide.

The chain is in 85% mint condition – curiously each link has an almost identical area of metal coming through the gold plating almost by design. This does not detract from the chain as it enhances the gold plating.
