This is a vintage Venetian fruiter. An Italian, art glass and gilt finished decorative comport or fruit bowl, dating to the late 20th century, circa 1970.

Extravagant form, with striking colour and gilt appearance Displays a desirable aged patina and in good order Quality blown red glass presents deep crimson hues Accentuated with ornate gilt sections with foliate motif Raised upon a bulbous gilt stem over a pleasingly patinated cast circular foot
