A rare and unusual Ernest Ostler's Yorkshire Sausages box used for delivery and display in butchers and grocers shops. 

Made from card the box has the company's name and details to the four sides and the top. Inside the lid there is a wonferful graphic illustration of a pig wrapped in an Ernest Ostler label. 

The box has the usual scuffs, marks and blemishes as expected of a used item of this age and material. The top of the box has some handwritten words which are likely to be the name of the shop or customer the box was destined for. 

Circa 1930s.
