Genuine Printed Stoneware Ginger Pot

Made in the north of England around the beginnings of the 20th century to hold either pickled ginger, curry paste or possibly fresh yogurt.  Rare to find this large size display piece.

The crock stands 6 3/4” tall x 5 1/4 “ wide, in great condition except for two small chips off the back of the rim.    Weighs almost 4 pounds.

It will make a great addition to any collection of transfer printed advertising wares or kitchen wares.  A sturdy piece with loads of charm.
