Indigo Zhuang cushions with pink tassels

These cushions are made from an indigo Zhuang wedding blanket in thick handloomed cotton. I've used the blanket with the reverse side out which I think shows up the graphic design better. The back of the cushions are also a vintage minority handwoven textile, this time from the Buyi ethnic group. There are traces of a thin pink silk band in the border on one side of each cushion so I've added pink tassels to pick up this colour.
They are smaller cushions but packed full of character and perfect if you are looking for an interesting blue to complete a scheme.
