A Victorian silver vinaigrette by a rare maker, Thropp& Co of Birmingham in 1842. The box has cast flowers around the four sides and engine turning on the top and bottom. The interior is gilded as is the pierced grill, top and bottom are hallmarked. The vinaigrette is in excellent condition with no damage or repairs. A great piece for your collection.
