A good example of a late 19thc brass snuff box...it has owners initials engraved on the lid...A H F and the inside shows traces of original tinning....I particularly like the fine quality hinge which is in working order....these little boxes were mainly used by manual labourers like farm workers, miners, and many more....in nice overall condition.
