Two Part Swan Butter Mould

A two part wooden butter mould which would turn out a three dimensional swan. This is carved in beech wood. It is English and it dates from c.1890. It is quite well carved but, due to some staining in the wood, the detail does not show as well as it should. However, I think that it would turn out very well. 

It is in very good condition and still has its original pegs which locate the two sides together.
