This cushion is made from a vintage Chinese quilt cover (pugai). It is an indigo resist which rather charmingly has errors in the pattern where the paste hasn't taken, so if you are a perfectionist this isn't the cushion for you. Errors like these are characteristic of hand woven and hand dyed textiles and should be considered part of the character of the piece. The cushion is edged with dark blue piping and the blue and white striped back is from vintage cloth intended to make chef's trousers in France.
There is a zip fastener and feather pad.
