This is a super quality vintage Swat marriage pillow. The silk embroidery is well executed mainly in shades of red and pink but with a touch of green and orange in the design as well. I've left both sides of the pillow together as they are both in good condition and the back is also a good geometric design. Clearly executed by an excellant needlewoman for her daughter's forthcoming marriage. These pillows were also collaborations between the mother and the daughter, so can look quite different on front and back. They are very hard to find now in this quality but you still get a lot of pillow for your money.
