This is a magnificent Georgian antique mahogany 8 day longcase clock by Thomas Fowle of East Grinstead with a silvered arched dial engraved face with seconds date strike and silent dials, 8 day duration mechanism striking the hour on a bell. It has a superior mahogany case with brass reeds to the columns, brass fret ends and a delightful long mahogany moulded door. It stands on shaped bracket feet. It is in good working order
