1 Original fine vintage mid 20th century iconic Vildbjerg Møbelfabrik Kai Kristiansen Scandinavian Danish small compact open front curved top teak sideboard. 

Circa 1960's.

A great small compact size with open front.

The lamp prop as seen is not included.

Featuring such an attractive half moon curved shaped top. 

Made from fine teak wood. 

With lower slide out drawer.

Kai Kristiansen is recognized as one of the most talented Danish designers to emerge in the mid-century period. 

Designer Kai Kristiansen was born in 1929.  

He apprenticed in cabinetmaking before he in 1948 enrolled in the prestigious Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen under the highly influential designer Kaare Klint. 

At the age of only 26, Kristiansen opened his own studio and began to create furniture in what would soon became known as the Danish modern style. 

His designs would be produced by well-known Danish manufacturers, such as Feldballes Møbelfabrik, Fornem Møbelkunst, Fritz Hansen, Vildbjerg Møbelfabrik, and Magnus Olesen. 

His designs, with their innovative aesthetics and clever practical elements.  

Highly sought-after today by both collectors and interior designers.   Follow the lines put forth by the Master himself, Kai Kristiansen.  

Kai Kristiansen has designed and produced furniture since the early 1950’s. 

His designs have always been in high demand, and has stood the test of time. 

Kai Kristiansen started his venture with a strong focus on quality, aesthetics, ergonomy and functionality. 

Since the very beginning, these principles and craftsmanship has been the cornerstone of our designs. 

Made in Denmark, circa 1960s.  

The dovetailing on the secondary woods shows why Kai Kristiansen's work is highly coveted.  

Beautifully made side table with draw & shelf & stamped to the bottom of the bottom drawer underneath.

Also having the original labels attached.  

No breaks or wobbles.

Offered in overall beautiful used condition. 

The top has a couple noticeable watermarks and some scratches, stains and a tiny hole in the wood on the top also a small chip to 1 side underneath  commensurate with usage & age.
