Early 19th century English pier mirror with stepped ebonised frame decorated with raised gold bands along the inner and outer edges. The original, hand-bevelled, mercury glass is divided into two sections with the bevelling continuing along the dividing edge. There is gentle age throughout the mercury glass, especially around the outer edges of the top section, but the mirror still gives a good reflection.
