Superb and rare 19th Century Italian Neo classical style king size bedstead, in the manner of Giuseppe Maggiolini, a renowned cabinet maker know for his ornate fine marquetry work.
Fine inlaid details to the head and footboard. Walnut, rosewood and fruitwood inlays
Original siderails and newly fitted with wooden slats and centre bar.
The upholstered pad in the headboard, recovered in a fine cotton silk velvet.
