This is also a Railroad grade pocket watch
Movement – the nickel full plate movement has a lever escapement with a micrometer regulator. The movement has raised gold jewel settings and is decorated with damascening. The movement is signed “Hamilton Watch Co, 17 Jewels, Lancaster, Pa, Adjusted” # 8034 and the movement is in 95% mint condition
Case – the movement comes in a Fahys gold plated open face case, which has a hinged ring which swings out of the front of the case. The case has a screw on bezel and the case has a smooth plain finish with faint engraving. The case is in 90% mint condition – the case did have engraving on the back but this has faded and there is also some traces of metal coming through on the bow.
Dial – the white enamel dial is double sunk and has a full set of blue steel hands. The dial is signed “Hamilton Watch Co” and is in 95% mint condition – a very faint hairline on the 3 and between the sub seconds and 5
The watch has a mineral glass
The watch measures 55mm wide x 18mm deep
The watch is stem wound / lever set
