About this item
A small pewter ice cream mould in the shape of a plum. This is marked, in the casting, “C C 811 BREVETTE S.G.D.G.” . CC is the mark of the French company Cadot and 811 would be the pattern number. It dates from c.1880. The shaping of the plum is simple but naturalistic and the mould is in very good condition. The interior is in good, bright, usable condition and the exterior has a dark patina.
Dimensions: Length 6.3cm. Width 5.3cm. Depth 4.5cm.
