About this item
A pewter ice cream mould in the shape of a Chinese figure. This could be a Samurai warrior, as it appears to be holding a sword, but I haven’t turned it out in order to see the full detail. It is marked, in the casting, “E & Co NY 914.” E & Co NY is the mark of an American company and ‘914’ is the pattern number. The mould dates from c.1900. The figure is very well modelled and would turn out well. The mould is in very good condition. The exterior has quite a dark patina and the interior is in good, bright, usable condition.
Dimensions: Length 13.4cm. Width 7.2cm. Depth 4.6cm.
