About this item
A small, pewter ice cream mould in the shape of a walnut. This is marked, in the casting, “C.C BREVETE S.G.D.G.” to one side and “C.C. 819” to the other. C.C. is the mark of the French company Cadot and 819 is the pattern number. The mould is very well detailed and naturalistic. It dates from c.1890 and is in good condition but there is a slight flaw in the casting to the interior. The exterior has a dark patina and the interior is in good, bright, usable condition.
