About this item
A small pewter ice cream mould in the shape of a pomegranate. This is marked, in the casting, with the initials “C C” and a number ‘809’. It is also marked “ BREVETE S.C.D.G.” . CC is the mark of the French company Cadot and 809 is the pattern number. It dates from c.1880. The moulding to the interior is well detailed and the piece is in excellent condition. The interior is in good, bright, usable condition and the exterior has a dark patina.
Dimensions: Length 6cm. Width across the hinge 6.8cm. Depth 5cm.
