About this item
A small, pewter ice cream mould in the shape of a slice of melon. This is marked, in the casting to both sides, “LG 1766”. LG is the mark of the French company Letang and 1766 is the pattern number. It dates from c.1880. The mould has very good detail and it is in good condition. The interior is in very good, bright, usable condition and the exterior has quite a pale, polished patina.
