About this item
This cushion is made from a soft pink coloured vintage Zhuang wedding blanket. The pink silk symbols are now a soft colour, having faded over time from a much stronger pink. The woven silk has a lovely soft sheen to it. These wedding blanket panels are woven on narrow looms, approx. 13" wide so I have pieced one together to get a larger sized cushion. The cushion is backed with an ivory coloured Tussah silk and there is a zip fastener and feather pad.
These wedding blankets are very hard to find now in good enough condition and the price has rocketed, so buy this while you can.
